Grand Theft Auto 6 has been hit by yet another apparent leak. Two clips that look like genuine gameplay footage, along with an image claiming to show the full map, have been circulating online — and the group allegedly behind them is using the moment to send a message to Rockstar Games.
What the Latest GTA 6 Leaks Appear to Show
Two separate videos have emerged. The first shows protagonist Jason playing basketball outside his home, while the second shows him behind the wheel of a car before attacking an NPC. Alongside the clips, an image purporting to be the complete GTA 6 map has also been posted.
Right now, nobody knows how these assets got out or how old they are. What they all have in common is that they point back to a cryptocurrency and a website said to belong to a group calling itself CyberLeek.
Who Is CyberLeek, and What Do They Want?
The website linked to the leaked material lists three demands aimed at Rockstar Games and other major publishers. The demands are framed as a response to the industry's shift toward an all-digital future — digital-only preorders, what the group calls "fake" single-player DLC, and publishers removing single-player content that customers have already paid for.
The manifesto specifically criticizes the lack of a physical disc for GTA 6. It also invokes The Crew, the Ubisoft racing game that became the rallying point of the Stop Killing Games consumer movement after Ubisoft shut down its servers and left even paying owners unable to play.
A Threat Aimed at the Whole Industry
CyberLeek's statement ends with a warning directed at other publishers, implying that more leaks like this one could follow:
"Publishers should beware. If CyberLeek can reach Rockstar, no one is safe. This is a message to all big corpo: behave, or be the next target."
Are These GTA 6 Leaks Real?
Authenticity is still unconfirmed. That said, Rockstar and parent company Take-Two Interactive appear to be actively pulling the videos down from social media platforms — a response that many fans read as a sign the material is genuine.
Meanwhile, the memecoin promoted alongside the leaked assets has attracted a surge of attention, though some observers warn it could be part of a cryptocurrency scam. Rockstar and Take-Two have not publicly commented.
The Timing Is Notable
If the leak is legitimate, it lands just days before the release of Grand Theft Auto 6: An Extended Look, a timed Netflix exclusive due on Thursday, August 27. The special will stay exclusive to Netflix for six hours before rolling out to platforms like YouTube.
A Long History of GTA 6 Leaks
This is far from the first breach. In 2022, more than 90 videos and images from an early development build of GTA 6 were leaked online — one of the largest leaks in video game history — and the game's marketing beats have repeatedly surfaced ahead of schedule since then.
As with every GTA 6 leak, we recommend treating unverified material with caution and waiting for official confirmation. We'll keep this page updated as the situation develops.
